If you receive this newsletter then chances are you understand the importance of reaching and connecting the men of your church. Our world is in desperate need of men who follow hard after God. The key to reaching these men is through the local church. But, how does that happen?
Russ Franklin is Founder of R.E.A.L. Men Ministry and the newest staff member of Florida Men of Integrity. Russ and his wife, Karen, and their two children, Kristen and Josh, live in Lehigh Acres near Fort Myers. R.E.A.L. MEN Ministry is an inter-denominational men's ministry designed to be a relevant force in today's world to bridge the gap and the disconnect between men through the living of God's word and discipleship.
Today many churches struggle to establish a men's ministry to disciple the men in their church. Many pastors feel overwhelmed or do not know where to begin to grow a thriving men's ministry or find it difficult to find committed men's leaders. Many of today's men feel isolated, broken, and tired, but there are still those who are in the church who have a heart hungry for God, are willing to be discipled, and are ready to serve and further the Kingdom.
The men of Forest Park United Methodist Church in Panama City recognized Dr. Jim Guth on April 24th at the Generations to Generations Conference for his "tireless and enthusiastic ministry to men in promoting uncompromising integrity, sharpening character, and helping men to positively impact in a godly manner for generations their families, churches, and culture." To God be the glory!

Dr. Jim Guth led a Great Dads Seminar and trained representatives of American Baptist Men USA at First Baptist Church in Fargo, North Dakota on June 26th. Following the seminar, Jim trained Jack Kist, District 6 Representative, and Kenna "Lucky" Ray, VP American Baptist Men USA, and then certified Jack and Lucky as new Associates and seminar presenters for Great Dads. Jack and Lucky are planning to take Great Dads across America to the American Baptist Churches USA. The American Baptist Men USA want their men to be great, godly husbands and dads.
